Amanda Mas

Amanda Mas Dorin, owner of Rebel & Rose Tattoo in Westport, is so proud to be able to share her craft on her own terms. From a young age in her hometown of Hewlett, NY, Amanda quickly discovered her passion for art as her basic sketches evolved in detail and she began to master new mediums as she grew older. She realized early on that her drive to create could open up the doors to a variety of opportunities as she began painting murals and commissions throughout high school and college.

Once she got her own first tattoo, she immediately knew tattooing would become her new favorite medium in her craft. She first began tattooing on Long Island, NY and became driven by the positive experiences she creates for her clients. With her clients’ happiness and a motivation to create a lasting impact at the forefront of her mind, Amanda also received training and certifications to complete medical tattooing--ranging from skin micropigmentation to areola tattooing for mastectomy patients to full scar cover ups.

As her skills continue to expand, Amanda has gone from loving tattoos solely in black and grey to starting to tell the story her clients want to be told by their pieces mainly in color. She especially enjoys doing all floral, nature and animal portrait tattoos and is very fond of creating anything dainty, tiny but packed with detail. Amanda has worked as a tattoo artist in Connecticut for about 6 years, and is so happy to expand her business this year from a private studio to a Women Owned and Operated shop.
